Arid Lands Ecology (ALE) Reserve Lysimeters
Two pairs of weighing lysimeters are located on the ALE Reserve. One pair contains undisturbed soil with a bunchgrass community on the surface and the second pair contains undisturbed soil with a sagebrush community. These lysimeters are used to compare and contrast the water balance components (evapotranspiration, water storage and deep drainage) in the two plant community types.
